Beausoleil

Overlooking the Monaco coastline, the town of Beausoleil is entirely open to the Mediterranean Sea.
This exceptional geographical location provides magnificent views and panoramas from Cap Ferrat to Italy. For a long time, its territory was known as "Monte-Carlo Supérieur" due to its close proximity and unique "border streets" with the Principality of Monaco.
The town is characterized by the charm of its alleyways, squares, and small gardens in the heart of the city, its famous stairways that crisscross the area, earning it the nickname "Petit Montmartre", and a remarkable Belle Époque architectural heritage, with its crowning jewel, the Riviera Palace, whose façade is listed as a historic monument, and its Winter Garden with an exceptional glass roof.
Bordering Monaco, the city wraps around the Principality and is divided into three main districts: the Center, the Moneghetti, and the Tenao.
The town has its historical quarters, such as the Carnier district with its former Belle Époque palace overlooking the city center, and the Tonkin and Gaité quarters, which hosted the first Piedmontese workers who came to develop the Principality. From this period, Beausoleil has maintained its role as a melting pot of cosmopolitan communities.
While the more urbanized areas showcase remarkable built heritage, some prefer the green belt with its large open spaces to the north, such as the Grima Forest, valleys, Devens Park, Mont des Mules, scattered individual homes, small paths, and protected vegetation. This green zone invites visitors to walk and engage in outdoor activities (walking, cycling, running, etc.).
